Religion is the only corporation who don't pay any taxes

There is no religion who don't make money there is just faithful people who don't want see that

Religion goes back for thousands years ago during this time it gathered many assets either from the local people or thru crusade or missionary operations as well as in the later time gathering or donations in the name of god were made to the church thru sculptures, paintings, jewelry or other pieces of art. Today though money are flowing to religions from online and private donation, selling religious products, renting churches or performing rituals for weddings, funerals or others ceremonies but no so many know that the main profit source of the religion now are investments.
As number of attendants decrease strongly in wealthy countries and with a slower rate in less developed countries, money start to shrink so bad that the religions start to focus on long term investments.
[1]Any theocratic country as Vatican or Iran[1] have to generate income to support their business. And in order to sell the hope with fake places like heaven or hell people should be brainwashed carefully to bring more money to this hope selling enterprise. They don't want you to save money or go to Samsung or Volvo who actually give you in exchange for your money some real stuff that you can hold and not some invented stories, rather they want you donate more and attend to more spectacular ceremonies where the popes look more like character from video game with all the extravagant clothes, jewelry, crosses and amulets who perform absurd rituals where people come to admire.  There is many doubts that these people can fulfill a real purpose except an skilled and expensive entertainer.

Religion as a company

Image was taken from a web page where it is explained how to optimize, organize and structure your own religion and church[1]. Sounds like a real company for me where hierarchy and duties are spread in the organisation.
I gave a try on google search engine to find out more so I typed "how to increase attendance at church" to my surprising I found out that this is a whole industry with companies or people who are willing to help or just share tricks and tips how church should get their members. What else can I say: nothing personal just business, marketing and money!
During my stay in Phnom Penh in Cambodia i was walking at night around a Buddhist temple and I noticed a luxury SUV car in the yard of the temple with two men who look liked bodygards and they were waiting some one. I didn't give so much weight to what I saw before but then I noticed how a buddhist monk stepped down from the temple and one man opened the car door for him. Afterward the man closed the door after the monk and they drove away. This is one more evidence which indicate that: bhikkhu, priest, imam or rabbin represent not only religion but also represent power, wealth and money.

What to expect from religions

So now lets find out how the religions will look like in the future, if we assume that religion lose all their attendants as the trend show us, what will happen then? Most likely that it will change their business plan from getting money into making money and how you do that without having any employees? Well investments don't require physical buildings or factories or even many employees so probably they will turn in to major owners and investors.
According to reuters report in 2015 the Archdiocese of Chicago alone had well over $2 billion invested in stocks and bonds. More than $100 million of it in oil and gas stocks[2]. There is also real estate, art treasures, cash, and other property to consider in a valuation of their wealth. I can just imagine the worth of the biggest religions in Europe and the Vatican where the worth can easily exceed over €1 or €2 trillion and nothing is taxed.

Exempt from taxes

The amount of money flow and assets in the religion business is underestimated and they pay ridiculous small amount of taxes or don't pay taxes at all. One study from Georgetown University and Newseum Institute fund out that religion is worth $1.2 Trillion in U.S. economy alone, more than Google and Apple combined[3]. So why still religions don't pay taxes? One reason is because this beliefs goes back to many years ago when the religious it self was the executive and controlling power along with ruling kings and noble men and nobody could demand churches to pay taxes it would be the same as today to demand taxes on revenue from the tax authority but in this case tax authority gather money and distribute whatever need is in comparison to the religion who just collect but never give back. The second reason could be as simple as lobby and corruption where formal proposes don't reach debating topics and new tax laws.
I hope for my self that one day people will realize that supporting religions is the same as supporting companies and probably they will change their mind for the better future for everybody.
