Don't make plans

Two days Before leaving Seoul i get a mail from the ferry company with notice that the ferry from Korea to Japan is canceled because of typhoon. This was like a thunder from the clear sky.

So what can I do except to take it easy and enjoy one more week in Korea if off course I will not find a submarine to get to Japan :)  No I didn't find a submarine although wasn't bad idea. Looking closer on the typhoon I saw a window at the south part of Korea in city of Busan where the ferry could have a possibility to get me on the other side and there is not so far a way so could work. With that in mind i took the bus from Seoul to Busan and after a while I realized that the bus was almost empty. Not so strange that it was empty, on the tv and everywhere were reports of typhoon from the south part but i am a hard nut so I will give a try.

In Busan the weather was cloudy and raining a little bit so I rushed to the port terminal to find out if the ferries are not canceled. The terminal was empty no people inside, i get bad feelings. From many companies just two of ferry companies has open office. And off course from the first one i find out that the ferry was cancelled. No more hopes! One left, I came very carefully to the next windows where the woman was looking out at me. My feelings was struggling between disappointment and forgiveness that i did my best and nothing could help from this mighty Typhoon, I have to surrender. It is hard to explain the feeling when she replied on my question: No the ferry is not canceled. I thought I could scream so loud of happiness that the imperator of Japan could hear me :)

So i get the ticket for next day and now: Japan wait for me I am coming.

The ferry from Russia to Korea wasn't so impressive but this Japanese ferry is a different one. I thought I bought a bed place but the bed looked for sure not as i expected. On this ferry among other things was a playing video game room a cinema room a public bath and how to miss three karaoke rooms. What else should expect from this culture? Some wood sandals or naked sumo on the street? This and other answers I will find out there.
