Sarmizegetusa Regia and Iron gate on Danube
Sarmizegetusa Regia
An ancient city I learned from history are somewhere in the middle of National Park Gradiste so it's good start for a day to explore something else. There is no bus to this place, the closest bus takes you about 19 km from Sarmizegetusa so the people usually takes cars or guided tours. I took the buss from Cluj Napoca to closest village Orastie where you can find a bus station for the next smaller bus to Costesti which is making this route quite often during weekdays, not so often during weekends. When I arrived to Orastie was 13:00 o'clock and the next bus to Costesti was at 18:00. No i didn't wait so much I just started hitchhike, this make more fun :) It was about 38 km and I took 3 cars to get to my last point, the drivers were locals so they told me stories about this place and what could I explore more round here.
This place was perfect for enjoying nature and site without many tourists, entire place just for me :)
My last hitchhiker pair are from Sighisoara, they took me to this place and back to the train station. Lovely people with sense of humor, they where on weekend road trip in the neighbors of Sighisoara. We talk a lot of politics, families, my journey and why I do that.
The funniest thing they asked me was: why are you not marry yet? :)
Well, explaining that the time and people changes and is not necessary to get marry at my age or don't get marry at all.
On the way back we took a girl who was studying in the same city as they come from so why not help her to get there. Right away they suggest me to marry the girl and move to Romania, I said that this is not in my plan right now.
So funny histories waiting everyday, you never know who you will meet tomorrow.

Train trip
After the pair left me at the train station i bought a night train ticket to Orsova. Now is time to relax, read some news watch a movie, listen local radio and of course look at the landscape. Landscape is changing every time you look in window, this is like a huge picture generator like a history machine about what is going on here. The more you look the more you see and the more you see the more you understand, at least for me is like that.
In the night nothing to see outside but is still a lot happening inside. People talk with each other, playing games, making debates, eating, get drunk and making noise but this is it, life on the train either you like it or not. Close to before midnight almost everyone suddenly turn of all the electronic device and try to find a way how to sleep and me too, good night.
Iron Gate
The next morning I arrived to Orsova. This is the place I will get the boat to Iron Gate. There is a plenty of tours a long the wharf so is not a problem to find someone.
This place look like a photo from some remote place in Asia where cliffs hits water. I was astonished how beautiful it is with all those unique for this place flowers and animals according our guide.
The rock sculpture of a ancient king is also impressing. No it is not so ancient as everybody think, in fact the sculpture was under construction from 1994 to 2004 and is not finished yet because of economical reason.
